What do QC do without sales order?

In fact  I am always bothered by the problems. Sales order is too short. Produce department hardly has enough loading. Of course there is little material imcoming.What do QC do in such conditions?

Surfing in internet is only job for everyday working time.Sometimes I think Quality department is very important. But I am wrong. Without sales orders,quality control is nothing.

Though I am a quality member, at present I have to admit that Sales is most important in a company.

Of course it is very reasonable that the employer pays more attention on sales. In Han Emperor of Tri-Kingdom words, Sales is like  hands and feet, quality department is like clothes. Just tell a joke. While it is true.So quality members have to reconginze it.
