Supplier Development Engineer
Internal Job Description
XXX Company located in Shanghai has an opening for Supplier Development Engineer
A. Lead, coordinate, and manage the APQP process with suppliers and LCC team.
B. Witness and approve PPAP documentation and part dimensional layout at suppliers.
C. Verify and approve the supplier’s process controls as a part of PPAP approval at suppliers.
D. Guide and work closely with suppliers on supplier development opportunities such as Quality Systems, Process Controls, Six Sigma, Lean, 8-D, FEMA, Control Plan, PPAP, etc
E. Leads problem solving and root cause analysis activities in order to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances at suppliers.
F. Publishing & communicating APQP implementation and PPAP approval against goals.
G. Work as liaison between suppliers and internal functions/plants (Engineering, Plants, Operations, etc.) to clarify requirements, eliminate confusion, and improve definition of requirements.
Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineer or other similar engineering fields. Master of Science will be a plus.
• 5 years of Supplier Quality Development experience with at least 2 years in Automotive industry
• 1 year of hands-on experience with complex dimensional layout
• Through understanding and working experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
• Through knowledge of Quality systems, methods and practices; QS 9000, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP and MSA
• Through understanding of manufacturing processes such as Castings, CNC machining, Multi-spindle machining, etc.
• Previous experience in getting work done through others is a plus.
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is preferred
• Excellent communication skills in local language and English (written & verbal)

2. To 3#, 的确应该是former. 谢谢了!
3. 工资的话, 还说不准. 如果现在超过7500的月薪的话, 建议就不要试了, 除非您非常想做SDE.
